PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A VOLUNTARY UNPAID ROLE
Are you friendly and outgoing? We’re looking for volunteers to join our team to visit shops, pubs and leisure centres in your local community. We need volunteers to find homes for boxes, empty boxes already placed and help to coordinate our Sooty Box volunteers.
Due to insurance requirements, you must be aged 18 or over to do this role.
What Will You Be Doing?
Build relationships with local retailers; Place Collection Boxes in agreed outlets; Find new venues for Collection Boxes; Count, record and bank money
Maybe you are interested in encouraging owners/managers to place a new Sooty collection box. Alternatively you could pick up our full existing Sooty collection boxes, replace them with new boxes, count the money that has been kindly donated by the public
When will you be needed?
2 hours per week, flexible

What Skills/Experience Are Needed?
Good Communication Skills; Ability to use your own initiative; Friendliness, enthusiasm and reliability; Good knowledge of the local area
