Firstly I'm in no major rush to sell but due to house hunting it's going to have to go by end of summer time.
Clio 182 2.0 Sport Trophy no.90 of 500 made.
Massive optunity to own a very rare car and are increasing in value every day.
It's had a full transformation after being a bit neglected by previous owner/s. Everything on the car is either new or replaced with better condition parts.
Shell currently on 119k but very clean with no rust what so ever.
Just had 12 months mot aswell with no advisories and being the trophy comes with lots of goodies inc Recaro bucket reclining seats, turini 16 inch alloys, Sachs Motorsport shocks (currently not fitted but present), cup packs, and comes in the best colour.. Red! Tax N/A, loads of history inc original hand books, emergency kit, tyre sealer (no spare wheel with these cars). V5 present, 1 key with working central locking, 8 previous owners etc etc...
It's had the following;
Engine changed to a lower mileage engine which has done 100k but very good and just had all the dreaded cambelt and dephaser pulley changed by Renault specialist Dan Potter with receipt to prove by previous owner.
Genuine Renault oil and filter used after a full flush. Engine block rubbed down and painted in gloss black before fitting.
Gearbox changed due to old unit having a blown diff. New oil used and also painted. Replaced clutch with brand new LUK clutch.
Fluid power steering completely deleted and replaced with electronic steering conversion. This includes a Dci Clio steering column, dci rack and a controller kit so you can adjust steering to suit your driving conditions. Shorter belt used. New inner tie rods and outer track rod ends. Computerised alignment done twice to compensate wearing in.
Air con delete using 172 cup alternator bracket set up and new alternator as old one wasn't charging. Again shorter belt used.
Magnecor leads in blue
Ktec induction kit brand new in yellow
Brand new battery
New radiator
New coolant bottle
Painted rocker, engine mounts and inlet manifold
Brakes replaced all round with mintex parts including rear fitting kit, rear wheel bearings and front flexible brake hoses.
Brake calipers and carriers painted yellow
Subframe fully cleaned and painted black
Polly bushed dog bone mount
Brand new Ktec coilovers all round due to old Sachs leaking. Got them with the car though and just need to be refurbed. Back shocks good.
Lowered on coilovers to a fast road set up
Milltek stainless resonated exhaust with milltek decat. Not too loud and quiet on idle. New fitting kits used when fitting and new exhaust mounts all round.
Rear axle painted.
Full undersealed.
2 new uni Royal rain expert 3 tyres up front and newish rear tyres.
Interior completely stripped due to water leak. Everything apart from seats and dash were scrapped. Everything relplaced with mint condition parts inc silver seat belts which are like new.
Recaro seats in good condition.
New gear stick gator from Renault.
New Ktec mats all round including rear boot liner as back seats are currently out (personally I prefer it). Seats and fittings all present though.
New grey insert headlights due to old ones hazed.
Phillips diamond vision dip beam bulbs.
Side lights replaced with led inc number plate bulb
New number plate light unit
New wiper blades
Rear wiper deleted and carbon effect cover used.
There's plenty more which I know iv forgot.
Iv spent so many hours building this car to a spec which everyone should love. Some people prefer this to be totally standard but as mentioned Iv got all the original parts except air con and power steering parts. Body work is near mint except a slight scrape on rear N/S bumper and a dent in the bonnet which I'm going to get done ASAP and if price is met.
£4500 or swap for either Honda integra type r dc2/dc5, civic type r ek9/ep3, Astra vxr/888 diesel.
